We need your help!!

We are having a dilemma. A shoe dilemma that is. Perri is at a very in between time right now in shoe sizes and it doesn't help that her feet are TINY. She's also walking and I have always loved her Pedipeds and she's been in the 0-6 month size of those but they are getting too small, and her pair of 6-12 month size are still huge!! My mom bought her some Squeaker shoes in hopes that she could somehow wear a size 3 in them but they are about double the size of her little foot and they seem to all start at size 3.

So, my question is, does anyone know of some good shoes for walking that start in a size 2 or that the 3's run extra small? The girl needs shoes, badly, but right now it seems its either walking around with her big toe jammed at the end of shoes or walking in clunkers that are twice the size of her foot!!

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help us out!

Ball pit fun!!

For Perri's birthday, her Me Me, Craig's mom, got her a ball pit. She is in LOVE and and spends A LOT of time in here. When we got it we didnt realize how big it would be and that it would need more balls, so we do plan on buying a big pack of balls to fill it up. But, Perri doesn't care and just brings all her other toys in there to play with too!

Looking at me through the ball hole

Smash face hahaha.

Just lounging and chewing on one of the kings from her Little People Nativity.

HUGE but she loves it!!

What the ball pit does to her hair every time. Cracks me up!

Attempt at family pictures

Last Saturday we headed up to The Woodlands to get some family pictures done and new pics of Perri, but little girl had different plans for us. In her defense, the pictures were at 3pm an hour away, in the middle of her nap, and it had been 50 degrees, then dropped even lower and was FREEZING. We had planned on them originally being done 2 weeks ago in the morning, but it kept raining and then SNOWING (it NEVER snows down here!) every time we tried to reschedule. We got her up early on Saturday morning in efforts of getting her to nap early so she'd be okay for pictures during her naptime. That all worked and I let her sleep two hours then had to wake her to go get pictures. She normally naps for 3.5 to 4 hours in the afternoon so yes, two hours is a good nap for some but that's only half a nap for her. (The girl is a SLEEPER!)

We got there and all was going okay for a little bit and then she was DONE. Totally over it and wasn't having it. Screaming every time we would sit somewhere, and when she saw the camera, she'd lose it. Thankfully, Krissy is wonderful and got a few pictures before we had to call it quits. We are going to try and meet up again next week and try again. Anyhow, here are the few shots she got. Perri isnt smiling in any of them, mostly crying, so this straight face makes me happy. Atleast we got one of her not screaming!!

Birthday Fun!! Party #2

Last week we loaded up the car, dog and all (left Amos home though) and hit the road for Arkansas. Perri isn't exactly the most fun to travel with so long car rides are always interesting, but the trip wasn't too bad. The ride up she slept 20 minutes and was pretty fussy but the drive home she was silent and just sat quietly, sucking her thumb. I even got to sit and finish a book!! Amazing!! Now that she is weaned and we don't have to stop and nurse, we've gotten to trip down to about 8 hours. Our first ride up took over 10. Whew, don't miss that!!

Anyhow, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving with all the family, and then celebrated Perri's birthday on Saturday night. My mom has been a HUGE help with her birthday and did pretty much everything for it, which we appreciated SO very much!! We had planned on just buying everything but mom wanted to make it all so she made loads of chili, cheesedip, all the cupcakes and even Perri's adorable sock monkey smash cake!! The cupcake toppers we did order from etsy (my favorite web site ever!!) and I made the birthday banner but most other things were made!! Thanks mom and dad for hosting the party, we had a wonderful time!!

Get ready for picture overload...
